Conventional banks and even venture banks have yet to embrace the notion that internet domains are bankable assets — this despite a growing number of "comparables" which provide a basis for making conservative estimates of the fair market value of individual domains or individual domain portfolios.

Domain Strategies works with independent appraisers to determine a fair market value for a given domain enabling a domain owner to borrow against the domain in return for pledging the domain as collateral until the loan is paid in full. This provides domain owners with access to secured short-term liquidity, often in parallel to domain development.

Domain Strategies is actively acquiring new domains both in the after-market and through direct purchase of existing domain portfolios. We are particularly interested in the following types of domains:
